BetterQA was founded in 2018 by Tudor Brad and Ana Brad in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The idea was simple: software testing should be independent, rigorous, and transparent.
We started with a small team and a conviction that testing needs separation from development. Not because developers can't test, but because independence produces better outcomes. A second set of eyes. A different perspective. A real adversarial layer.
Today, BetterQA is a team of 50+ ISTQB-certified engineers across manual testing, test automation, and security testing. We work with startups, scale-ups, and enterprises across Europe and North America.
But we don't just use tools. We build them.
BugBoard for AI-powered test case generation. Flows for self-healing test automation. Auditi for WCAG accessibility compliance. BetterFlow for team transparency. Security Toolkit for AI-orchestrated penetration testing. Each tool solves a problem we encountered while testing real products for real clients.
We build our own tools because we know what testing teams actually need, not what vendors think they should buy. And when we use those tools on client projects, we prove they work.
