IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: LET'S TALK ABOUT ANABELA TIVADAR
It has been quite a while since our last employee spotlight. Today we’d like to present an interview with Anabela Tivadar, one of our hardworking marketing analysts.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT BETTERQA?
I work as a Marketing Analyst. My responsibilities include Lead Generation searches, job hunting on various platforms, searching for testing projects, and a small part of logistics related to Cargus.
BEFORE BETTERQA, WHAT PREVIOUS JOBS DID YOU HAVE?
Actually, this is my first job. I wanted to focus on my studies, but during my master’s program, I found this job and it was an opportunity to start a career.
WHY DID YOU JOIN BETTERQA, AND WHAT HAS KEPT YOU HERE?
Being a student, I wanted a remote job or at least one that would allow me to do both things at once. I saw the job posting on LinkedIn. I hadn’t been actively searching for a job in the marketing field because I didn’t know much about it, but I had researched about the company before the interview and I was impressed by it. This made me give the field of Marketing a chance and it turns out that I enjoy what I do now.
WHAT DO YOU FIND THE MOST CHALLENGING, AND WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST AT BETTERQA?
I believe the most challenging thing is working remotely, even though I wanted it and had a similar experience during my student years, it was quite difficult at first to get used to it.
I really enjoy the team spirit at BetterQA and the fact that there are many team-building activities to socialize with each other as much as possible.
WHAT CAREER PATH WOULD YOU FOLLOW IF YOU WEREN'T DOING THIS?
If I weren’t doing this, I would probably focus on the field of geomatics. With my studies in this domain, I would have enjoyed working on collecting, analysing and processing geographic data, as well as creating maps using programming languages.
WHAT'S A FUN FACT ABOUT YOU THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW?
A fun fact about me is that I’m a fan of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. During the Christmas period, I always do a marathon of these films. In my opinion, these movies are a cinematic masterpiece, and surprisingly, I never get bored watching them.
WHERE'S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?
I enjoy traveling, but my favourite place in the world in the world is Barcelona. This vibrant and beautiful city, with its breathtaking coastal beauty encompassing the alluring beach, golden sands, radiant sun, and mesmerizing sea, captivates my heart like no other. I visit this city every summer, especially for its grand architecture.
WHAT IS THE WEIRDEST FACT YOU KNOW?
It’s not necessarily weird, but I found out that it is illegal to own only one guinea pig in Switzerland. If you have one, you’ve got to get another too, because guinea pigs can get lonely and depressed by themselves.
