Ten testing providers for teams in Georgia: two based in Atlanta, the rest chosen for payments, security and automation work. Each entry says where the company is based, whether testing is its main business, and who it suits.

Georgia buyers mostly test money movement: payment processing and fintech in metro Atlanta, plus the logistics and enterprise software around it. Few testing specialists are based in the state, so many teams pair an Atlanta development partner such as KMS Technology with a specialist elsewhere. For payment data and reconciliation, RTTS and Kualitatem fit. For automation, QASource, QA Wolf and Katalon's tooling are the usual comparisons.
How we chose
- 01Testing is the main business, or we say plainly that it is not.
- 02Serves Georgia teams: a real office in the state, or named working hours that overlap Eastern Time.
- 03Public evidence: client reviews where they exist, a published service scope.
- 04Checked facts only: headquarters, founding year and model, each with a source in our comparison data, verified May-October 2026.
- 05No pay to appear. Nobody on this list paid or was asked to.

Book a 30-minute callWhat is specific to testing in Georgia
Four things that change how a Georgia team should choose a testing partner.
Payments are the centre of gravity
The state's economic development agency says about 70 percent of US payment transactions are handled by processors located in Georgia, a cluster it calls Transaction Alley, and names Fiserv, Global Payments, NCR and Visa among its fintech companies. Testing here means PCI DSS controls on card data, settlement and reconciliation checks, and load at peak shopping times.
Few testing specialists are based here
Two of the ten firms below are headquartered in Atlanta, and one of those sells a tool rather than a service. Georgia buyers usually combine a local development partner with an outside testing specialist.
No state privacy law to test against
Georgia has not enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy law: a 2026 bill was stripped in the legislature (Seyfarth Shaw, June 2026). Breach notice is governed by O.C.G.A. 10-1-912, which asks for notice to residents without unreasonable delay. A payments product still sells nationwide, so privacy tests follow the strictest state its users live in.
Time zone
Georgia is on Eastern Time. Romania is usually 7 hours ahead of Atlanta (6 hours for a few weeks when the US and EU clocks change on different dates), so a Georgia morning is a Romanian afternoon. Plan handovers for that shared window and agree who answers when a release breaks later in the day.

The ten companies
1BetterQA
An independent QA company from Cluj-Napoca, founded in 2018. We test and do not build your product, so nobody marks their own homework. Our 50+ engineers work as a managed testing team or inside your own team, from one month, and use five QA tools we built ourselves at no extra cost.
For Georgia, the work that fits is financial services testing (payments, reconciliation, card data), performance testing before peak load, and security testing. Why first: it is our list. Judge us on the same criteria as everyone else, and see how a QA outsourcing engagement with us works.
- Hours: Romania is usually 7 hours ahead of Atlanta, so shared hours are the Georgia morning. Agree coverage hours before you sign
- Rate: EUR 20-45 per hour by seniority, tools included
- Reviews: 4.9 on Clutch from 70 reviews
- Paperwork: NDA and DPA from day one; ISO 9001, 14001, 27001:2022 and 13485
- Trying us: the first month is a trial; the first 2 weeks are complimentary on ongoing work if you are not happy
- Best for: payments, fintech and SaaS teams that want testers in their sprints

Financial services testingQuestions Georgia buyers ask
Are there testing companies based in Georgia?
A few, and they are not all testing services. Atlanta has KMS Technology, a development firm with a testing practice, and Katalon, which sells a test automation tool. We found no independent testing firm with a verified Georgia headquarters, so many teams pair a local partner with a specialist elsewhere.
What does testing a payments product involve?
Checks on card data handling against PCI DSS, settlement and reconciliation against the processor, failure and retry paths, and load at peak times. Ask any provider to show a past reconciliation test, not only a tool list. See our financial services testing page.
Does Georgia have a privacy law we must test for?
Not a comprehensive one: the 2026 bill was stripped in the legislature, according to Seyfarth Shaw. A breach law, O.C.G.A. 10-1-912, does apply. If your users live in other states, test for the strictest one among them.
Can a Romanian team work Georgia hours?
Partly, and any provider should say so. Romania is usually 7 hours ahead of Atlanta, so a Georgia morning is a Romanian afternoon. Agree coverage hours before you sign, and ask who answers when a release breaks late in the Georgia day.
How much does outsourced QA cost for a Georgia company?
It depends on seniority and the model: a managed team, or testers inside your team. Our rate is EUR 20-45 per hour by seniority, tools included. Ask every provider for a range by seniority before any long discovery phase. We send a written proposal within 2 business days of the first call.
