For product teams that release every week

Test automation services that actually save time

Test automation services mean an outside team designs, writes and maintains the automated tests for your software and runs them in your CI/CD pipeline. We build web, mobile and API suites in Playwright, Cypress and Appium, keep them in your repository, and keep them green as your product changes.

What a typical pipeline runs

  • Smoke testsOn every pull request
  • API testsOn every merge
  • Full web regressionNightly, or before a release
  • Mobile regressionBefore each app store release
// scope

What we automate

Most teams start with one of these and add the rest once the suite has earned their trust.

Web applications

End-to-end journeys in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge: sign-up, login, search, checkout.

Mobile apps

iOS and Android with Appium or Maestro, or XCUITest and Espresso. See mobile app testing.

APIs

REST and GraphQL tests that catch a breaking change before the frontend does. See API testing.

Regression in CI/CD

A fast smoke set on every commit, the full suite nightly, in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or CircleCI.

Your existing suite

We audit what you have, keep what works, fix or remove the flaky tests and build from there.

// tools

The frameworks we use

We choose for your product and your team, not for our habits.

Playwright

Our default for a new web suite: fast, every major browser, good debugging.

Cypress

If your developers already write Cypress, we stay on it. Moving to Playwright? Cypress to Playwright migration.

Appium and Maestro

For iOS and Android, next to XCUITest and Espresso.

Flows ours

Our own, purpose-built for this work. We can run your automation on Flows: it records a real user journey as a test we can re-run on every release, and export it as a Playwright, Cypress or Selenium script. About Flows

Selenium stays where legacy constraints make a move impractical. Bugs the suite finds are logged in BugBoard, our test management tool.

// engagement

Three ways to work with us

The difference is who directs the work day to day.

ModelHow it worksA good fit when
Managed automationWe own strategy, framework, tests, upkeep and release reports. Also called test automation as a service. See managed testing services.You want a working suite, not more people to manage.
Engineers in your teamDedicated automation engineers join your stand-ups, repository and tracker. Your lead directs them.You have a QA lead or a framework and need capacity or a specialist.
Framework buildA fixed piece of work: a new framework, a move from Selenium to Playwright, or a flaky suite rescued. We build it, document it and hand it over.Your own team will run the suite afterwards.

The same terms for all three

  • From one month
  • First month is a trial
  • First two weeks complimentary if you are not happy
  • 30 days notice after that
  • NDA and DPA from day one
  • Our five tools included
// ownership

Your tests live in your repository

The automation code is yours from the first commit. It sits in your repository and runs in your pipeline, not on a server you cannot see.

Nothing to hand back

If the engagement ends, the suite, its documentation and the CI setup are already where they belong.

Readable by your developers

Plain naming and shared fixtures, so a developer can fix a test without waiting for us.

Your data exports

Bugs and test cases export from BugBoard. Flows tests export to Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.

BugBoard and Flows themselves are our products, included while we work together.

// first month

How we start

  1. A 30-minute call

    What you ship, how often, what breaks. If automation is not the fix, we say so.

  2. NDA and DPA

    Signed before anyone sees your code or your data.

  3. Week one

    We read your code, tests and pipeline, and agree which journeys to automate first.

  4. Week two

    The framework is in place and the first tests run in your pipeline.

  5. End of month one

    Your decision. Not happy with the first two weeks? They are complimentary.

// cost

What test automation costs

€20-45Per hour, from one month

The rate depends on seniority, how long you commit for, and the mix of automation, manual and specialist work. Longer commitments sit lower in the range.

Included at no licence cost: BugBoard, Flows, Auditi, BetterFlow and the AI Security Toolkit. No per-seat charges.

A suite that fails at random gets ignored, and then you are paying for tests nobody reads. We price for a suite your team trusts.

// questions

Test automation services: common questions

What are test automation services?

An outside team designs, writes and maintains automated tests for your software and runs them in your CI/CD pipeline. With us that covers web, mobile and API tests, regression suites and the upkeep that keeps them reliable.

How much do automation testing services cost?

With us, €20 to €45 per hour, depending on seniority, commitment length and the mix of work. Our five tools are included, so there is no licence bill on top.

What is test automation as a service?

The managed option: we own the automation from strategy to reporting, and you get a working suite and a clear answer on each release without managing the people who build it.

Who owns the test automation code?

You do. The tests live in your repository and run in your pipeline. When an engagement ends, the suite, the documentation and the CI setup are already yours.

Which framework do you recommend?

Playwright for most new web projects, Cypress if your team already uses it, Selenium where legacy constraints require it, and Appium or Maestro for mobile. Moving from Cypress to Playwright? See our Cypress to Playwright migration service.

How soon can you start?

Usually within about two weeks. The first week goes on assessing your code and setting up the framework; in the second, the first tests run in your pipeline.

How do you handle flaky tests?

We treat a flaky test as a bug. We fix its wait conditions or quarantine it with tracking, so one unstable test never blocks a release unseen.

What if it does not work out?

The first month is a trial, and if you are not happy with the first two weeks they are complimentary. After that either side can end it with 30 days notice, and the tests stay in your repository.
