SAP testing services from an independent team
SAP testing services check that your SAP system does what your business needs before it goes live: the processes, the integrations, the migrated data and the performance under real load. We test. We do not implement, so our report has no reason to go easy on anyone's work.
When to bring in an independent tester
- A move to S/4HANAConversion, upgrade or new implementation
- A data migrationLegacy data into SAP, or between systems
- A new integrationSAP talking to your CRM, shop or warehouse
- Regular SAP updatesRegression before each one goes live

What we test in an SAP project
Each project gets the mix it needs. These are the parts we plan for.
Business processes
Your key business processes, tested end to end as your people work.
Data migration
Record counts, field values and business rules checked after each load, not only at the end.
Integrations
The interfaces between SAP and your other systems, checked as data moves through them.
Regression
What worked yesterday still works after a transport, an upgrade or a support pack.
Performance
Month-end and peak loads, before your users find the limit. See performance testing.
User acceptance
We prepare the scenarios and the evidence, so your key users sign off on facts.
How we run SAP testing
Testing runs through the whole project, not only in the last weeks before go-live.
Plan
We learn your business processes and agree a test strategy with your stakeholders.
Requirements
Each requirement gets test cases, so nothing is signed off on assumption.
Test in sprints
Functional, integration and regression testing as each part is built.
Prove the data
Migration loads checked for accuracy and consistency before cutover.
After go-live
We keep watching the live system and retest as it changes.

Why an independent tester helps an SAP project
The partner implementing your system is also the one telling you it is ready. We give you a second answer from people with nothing to defend.
- We report to you, not to the implementation partner
- Every defect logged with steps and evidence in BugBoard
- NDA and DPA signed before we touch your data
Two ways to work with us
The difference is how long you need us.
| Model | How it works | A good fit when |
|---|---|---|
| Project testing | A defined scope, such as one migration or one go-live. The fixed price is in the proposal. | You have a date and a clear piece of work to test. |
| Ongoing testing | A team that regression tests each update and new rollout, billed monthly at €20 to €45 per hour. | Your SAP system changes every month. |
Ongoing testing comes with
- First month is a trial
- First 2 weeks complimentary on ongoing work if not happy
- 30 days notice after that
SAP testing services: common questions
What are SAP testing services?
An outside team checks that your SAP system supports your business processes, integrations and data before go-live, and keeps checking it as it changes.
Do you implement SAP as well?
No. We only test. That keeps our results independent of whoever built or configured the system.
Can you test an S/4HANA migration?
Yes. We test the migrated data, the business processes and the integrations around the move, and run regression before cutover.
How much does SAP testing cost?
Our rate is €20 to €45 per hour. A defined project gets one fixed price in the proposal; ongoing testing is billed monthly.
When should testing start?
At planning. Test cases written from the requirements catch gaps while they are still cheap to fix.
How do you handle our business data?
Under an NDA and DPA from day one. BetterQA holds ISO 27001:2022 for information security.
Planning an SAP go-live?
Tell us what is changing and when. We reply within one business day and send a proposal within 2 business days of the call.
